Artsakh is actually an open air museum. Thousands of ancient architectural monuments (the age of many of which more than 11-12 centuries, and some of them thousands of years), including  pearls of medieval architecture - Gandzasar, Dadivank, Amaras Gtchavank, admire with beauty and unique stone carvings, call to adore the genius art of architectural solutions of the ancient masters. You will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the country, its history, architecture, literature, archaeological sites, places of military glory, and a modern region. Karabakh is the north-eastern province of Armenia. Distribution of a common economic activity, similar customs and beliefs, the common mentality, as in ancient times, and now have become for the people of Nagorno-Karabakh as a basis for the formation of cultural, economic and linguistic community to other regions of Armenia. Numerous archaeological data relating to the Neolithic, Bronze and Iron Ages show that the culture of Nagorno-Karabakh is in fact one of the branches of the Armenian culture and has many similarities with other Armenian monuments of the same period. The ancestors of the current Karabakh Armenians, despite of the constant wars, left surprisingly rich cultural heritage.

More than four thousand historical and architectural monuments has survived - castles, monasteries, churches and temples, bridges, palace buildings, a lot of Khachkars (gravestones and monuments, which are based on the Christian cross, created in the tradition of the Armenian religious art, the carving is not repeated on any of khachkar), more than a thousand inscriptions on the walls and gravestones in the ancient Armenian (Grabar). Karabakh is one of the centers of urban development not only in the Caucasus but also beyond. In the XIX century in the Caucasus the city of Shoushi, the former capital of Karabakh, played a special role. It became one of the centers of cultural and educational life. Traveling in Artsakh, tourists should definitely include in their plans a visit to this city. For thousands of years in Karabakh was formed architecture with its artistic and historical value. Artsakh traditional architecture is church architecture - churches, monasteries, chapels, etc. Here, in a small space, are concentrated more than four thousand of Armenian cultural monuments.

Every nation has its own folk music, folk songs, and author. Karabakh song cannot be confused with any other. Songs create in the listener vivid experience and are considered an integral part of the life of the Karabakh people. These songs help people in difficult times, encouraging during the holidays and tie with common feelings. Getting acquainted with the musical culture of the region, tourists will be surprised by its richness and diversity. "Nakhshun Baji," "14," "Derunts Dzor", "Tmblachi Khacheh", "Horovel" - these songs are sung from generation to generation and transmit the uniqueness of the Artsakh people. Originality is transferred by the special sounds of Armenian musical instruments, which have been preserved from ancient times - zurna, kemancha, tar, duduk.
